      <image:title>Teaching - Science, self-determination, and equity in the classroom.</image:title>
<image:caption>I relish the opportunity to engage students via the vehicle of psychological science. Throughout my 8 years in the classroom, I have taught a wide variety of courses, including Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, Health Psychology, and Quantitative Methods. Having taught in a diverse range of environments, cultural-responsiveness, equity, and anti-racism are critical components of my pedagogical approach, and I make efforts to ensure every aspect of my syllabus, course delivery, and assignments are equitable and inclusive. Finally, as a motivation researcher, I draw on insights from self-determination theory to try to foster student autonomous motivation, and support their needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness in the classroom.</image:caption>
